Dr.Shaheem Ali Saeed, the former chancellor of the Islamic University of Maldives has endorsed Ibrahim Mohammed for Mahchangoalhi Central constituency in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Ibrahim Mohammed is an independent candidate contesting for the constituency. Opposition PPM/PNC coalition also endorses Ibrahim. He is running against former President Mohammed Nasheed.
In a Facebook post, Dr.Shaheem announced that he endorses Ibrahim for the constituency and noted that he has the religious and educational background required to effectively carry out the duty of a member of parliament.
Dr.Shaheem requested all his supporters in the constituency to vote for Ibrahim Mohammed.
