Ex-Prez Nasheed Joins Indian Right Wing in Blaming Pakistan
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Former President of the Maldives, Mr.Mohammed Nasheed has blamed Pakistan for the instability in South Asia.
He tweeted this afternoon saying that to ensure peace and stability in South Asia, Pakistan should move against terror groups operating from its territory.

The former president’s tweet is similar to the language used by radical Indian politicians. He tweeted this during a time, the whole world has been praising the government of Pakistan for releasing an Indian pilot who was captured after his fighter jet was shot down inside Pakistani territory.

Maldivian politicians have always maintained a neutral stance in the conflict between Pakistan and India. Mr.Nasheed is the first high ranking politician of the Maldives to publicly take sides on the matter.
