FlyMe To Resume Operations to Addu and FM

FlyMe To Resume Operations to Addu and FM

FlyMe, operated by Villa Air, is scheduled to resume operations to Addu and Fuvahmulah on November 15.

According to the press release by Jumhooree Party leader Qasim Ibrahim’s aviation company, customers will be able to book flights from FlyMe’s website starting from November, 1.

FlyMe stated that flight to Fuvahmulah will travel from Velana International Airport (VIA) to Fuvahmulah Airport, transiting at Gan International Airport in Addu before returning to VIA. The flight is scheduled for 01:00 P.M every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

The second flight which travels to VIA from Addu will transit at Fuvahmulah before returning to VIA. This flight is scheduled for 06:00 P.M every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Following the company’s decision to resume scheduled flights to Addu and Fuvahmulh, FlyMe has announced a notice to hire staff in the two destinations.

The airline has introduced a special promotion offering a one-way ticket price of MVR 999 for the first ten passengers of every one-way ticket.

The company had recently added a new 48-seater to their fleet.

After a three-year hiatus, FlyMe is resuming their flights to the southernmost atolls. The company’s previous scheduled flights to Addu and Fuvahmulah commenced on February 2nd, 2013 and came to a stop on March 2015.

Currently, FlyMe has scheduled flights only to Maamigili, Alifu Dhaal Atoll and Dharavandhoo, Baa Atoll.
